Our team of Registered Kinesiologists are experts when it comes to exercise prescription and have an endless variety of exercises and techniques that will get you to where you want to be. They will be your brain for the hour, so you don’t have to think about what’s coming next.
So, what does a normal session at Longevity look like?
All our sessions are 60 minutes, starting from the initial to every appointment after that. In the initial appointment, one of our Registered Kinesiologists, Mel or Chelsey, will take you through a full health history and an assessment. We will talk about why you are here, what you are hoping to gain from coming to LongevityNexum, and we will create goals based off these answers. The goals are there to ensure that yourself and your Kinesiologist are on the same page moving forward and together, we can create a clear path to get you to where you want to be.
Your second session is when we take the goals, put them into a strategy and get to action! It is important to note that not all sessions will be the exact same as we value our individualized exercise prescription. That being said, our team at Longevity Nexum structures the sessions as followed:
- Cardio warm-up
- Light Exercise
- Dynamic movements to get the body prepared. Always chosen specifically for yourself and your needs.
- Main Body
- The focus is always dependent on your goals and needs.
- Resistance training
- Cardiovascular training
- Cool-down
One of the key values at Longevity Nexum, is that we don’t only look at the issue you have come to us with if there is one. No matter who you are, where you are stating from, in your initial consultation we look at your whole body, all movements, all ranges of motion. This way, our Kinesiologists get the full picture of what is really happening.
Obviously, if you come in with shoulder or lower back pain, this will be our main priority to help you with. But we are not going to neglect the other factors that are holding you back from being the healthiest version of yourself.
