Our Kinesiologist can work with women who are thinking about pregnancy and want to bulletproof their body before getting pregnant, women who are pregnant that want to maintain movement and prepare their body for birth, or moms at any stage in the postpartum period looking to return to exercise.
Exercise is not only beneficial for those who are looking to return to fitness, but also for mothers who are struggling with pregnancy-related dysfunctions. Exercise plays an important role in the recovery period for some of the common issues women face during and after pregnancy:

What is a prenatal and postnatal coach?
A prenatal and postnatal coach uses evidence-based research to promote and guide women through personalized exercise prescription that based on client’s unique situation and goals which leads to an active lifestyle prior to conception, during pregnancy and into the postpartum stage.
What to expect
At Longevity Nexum, our Kinesiologists use a variety of coaching techniques and equipment to help you establish best breathing practices, core strength, and functional movement. During a session with our prenatal and postnatal coach, you can expect the following:
- Thorough initial consult
- 60 minute 1 on 1 session in a private exercise studio
- Warm up
- Connection breathing
- Proper bracing
- Pelvic floor exercises
- Static and dynamic stretching/mobility exercise
- Progressive resistance training with free weights and other equipment
- Progressive cardiovascular training: aerobic and anaerobic
- Cool down
