This week, we’re proud to highlight a client success story for one of our most dedicated clients, Dalton Mason, who began his journey with us in September 2023. What started as a single goal has since evolved into an inspiring long-term commitment to health, resilience, and growth. This client came for one goal but stayed for the progress. Read more about this client success story.
How It Started…
At an early age, Dalton sustained a hip injury that required three surgeries to repair. Although the surgeries were successful, he was left with decreased range of motion in his left hip and ongoing discomfort. As someone passionate about strength training, Dalton often felt limited by his pain and mobility.

A longtime strongman fan, Dalton sought our services in hopes of improving his squat performance. After our initial assessment in September 2023, we developed a plan focused on enhancing his squat and deadlift, improving overall health through weight reduction, and alleviating persistent elbow pain.
For anyone with big goals and chronic pain, the journey can feel discouraging — but Dalton exemplifies how consistency and commitment truly are the best remedies for success. We began with carefully graded exercise progressions to build a strong foundation, address his pain, and prevent further injury.
When Dalton first started with us, he already had some exercise experience but felt stuck — like he wasn’t really moving forward. He was hesitant to add any cardio, worried it might interfere with his strength goals and it just wasn’t enjoyable (a feeling many of us can relate to). After talking it through, we discovered that incorporating the right kind of cardio would actually boost his performance and help protect his long-term health. Since then, it’s become a non-negotiable part of his routine — and his progress, energy, and overall health markers all show just how powerful that working with a Kinesiologist can be.
Here’s what Dalton has to say about working with Longevity Nexum
“I’ve been a client for around 6 months now and this has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I had some old injuries and have tried for almost two decades to fix the range of motion with my squats and deadlifts. We’re already where I thought it’d take a year to get to, plus I’m down 30lbs (and counting)! I’ve mostly worked with Mel, but I’ve also had sessions with Chelsey and Kelly and all 3 of these ladies are very knowledgeable and excellent motivators! It’s still on you to put the work in, and you have to be consistent, but as long as you do your part they’ll get you where you need to be!”

During this time, Mel, his primary Kinesiologist, went on maternity leave in October, and Kelly continued working with Dalton to ensure seamless progression with his program.
How It’s Going 2 years later…
“I’m currently down roughly 70lbs since starting with Longevity. All of my lifts are through the roof, my balance is infinitely better, they’ve found a way to make cardio not be absolute torture, and I’m all around moving better than I thought possible. I even noticed a few months ago I was able to stand up from the couch without getting momentum or pushing off.”

No matter where you are in your health journey, it’s never too early or too late to start. Dalton’s story is a testament to how powerful exercise can be — not only in improving strength and mobility but in transforming overall quality of life. His dedication has even inspired his family to begin their own fitness journeys.
Let Dalton’s story be your reminder to do the hard thing, make your health your number one priority, and set your goals high — nothing is impossible.

“This isn’t a team of kinesiologists, this is a team of miracle workers! As long as you’re willing to put the work in, they’ll change your life! Everything I said in my original review is an understatement. For what it’s worth, I trusted them enough to refer one of my best friends and my mom. They’re simply unmatched!”
