Kyle Smith

Registered Kinesiologist

Bio

Kyle is a Registered Kinesiologist who believes strength training should be something people look forward to—not something they feel intimidated by. Whether you’re stepping into a gym for the first time or looking to take your training to the next level, his goal is to help you build confidence, move better, and enjoy the process along the way.

Before becoming a kinesiologist, Kyle coached CrossFit athletes and worked with Wilfrid Laurier University’s varsity strength and conditioning program, gaining experience with everyone from beginners learning their first squat to competitive athletes chasing peak performance. Those experiences taught him that while everyone’s goals are different, success always starts with mastering the fundamentals and building confidence through consistent progress.

Kyle especially enjoys introducing people to strength training. He understands that the weight room can feel overwhelming, so he focuses on creating a supportive environment where clients learn proper technique, understand why they’re doing each exercise, and develop the confidence to train independently. His goal isn’t just to help clients during their sessions together—it’s to give them the knowledge and skills to feel comfortable exercising for life. His coaching philosophy is simple: meet people where they are. Whether you’re exercising once a week or six times a week, recovering from an injury, or simply wanting to stay active as you age, Kyle works with you to create a realistic plan that fits your lifestyle and goals. Rather than chasing quick fixes, he focuses on building sustainable habits that lead to lasting results.

Kyle believes strength training is one of the best investments you can make in your long-term health. Building and maintaining muscle supports mobility, balance, bone health, metabolism, and overall function, helping you stay active and independent as you get older.

For Kyle, fitness isn’t about looking a certain way—it’s about having the freedom to live life on your terms. Whether that means playing with your grandkids, golfing well into your 80s, hiking on vacation, or enjoying great food and drinks without guilt, he wants his clients to feel strong, capable, and confident in everything they do.
