If I’m being honest, this seminar didn’t start as an idea—it started as a pattern.
Our team was having the same conversations in our clinic and throughout our community. Women were opening up about how off they felt, how different their bodies feel, and how they don’t quite recognize themselves anymore. A lot of this can be contributed to perimenopause symptoms.
And almost every time, it comes back to the same frustration:
“I don’t know what’s happening… and I don’t know where to go for answers.”
The Reality of Perimenopause Symptoms
Many women enter this phase without realizing what they’re experiencing is perimenopause.
Common perimenopause symptoms include:
- Mood swings and increased anxiety
- Low energy and disrupted sleep
- Brain fog and difficulty focusing
- Changes in strength, weight, and recovery
- Loss of confidence or sense of self
The symptoms of menopause can feel confusing and unpredictable—especially when no one has explained that they’re connected. Research shows that women in perimenopause are significantly more likely to experience depression, alongside other changes in menopause mental health like anxiety and emotional instability. Yet despite how common this is, awareness is still low.
Menopause Mental Health: The Missing Conversation
One of the biggest gaps we see is around menopause mental health.
Women are often prepared for physical changes—but not for the emotional and cognitive shifts that come with hormonal changes.
This is where things start to feel overwhelming.
Without understanding what’s happening, many women begin to:
- Question their mood and emotions
- Lose confidence in themselves
- Feel disconnected from who they used to be
This stage of life can feel like losing control—and that’s often driven by a lack of information, not a lack of capability.
Why We Created This Event: Real Support for Menopause
After hearing these same concerns over and over again, it became clear:
There isn’t enough accessible, trustworthy support for menopause.
So we decided to create it.
This seminar brings together multiple health professionals to provide education, guidance, and clarity around:
- Perimenopause and post-menopause changes
- Menopause mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Strength, movement, and physical health
- Practical strategies to navigate this transition
Will we have every answer? No. Every woman’s experience with menopause is different.
What we can do is create a space where questions are welcomed, experiences are validated, and women leave with a better understanding of what’s happening in their bodies.
You’re Not Losing Yourself—You’re Lacking the Right Information
This phase of life is often dismissed as “just part of aging” but for many women it feels like much more…
- A loss of identity
- A drop in confidence
- A shift in mood and energy
- A body that no longer responds the same way
Without the right support for menopause, it’s easy to feel stuck in those changes. This isn’t about losing yourself.
It’s about going through a transition that hasn’t been explained clearly enough.
