A few months ago I went on indeed searching for a Kinesiology role in Barrie. At the time, I was working as a Fitness Manager for a commercial gym in Vaughan and wanting a career change. I came across the posting for Longevity Nexum and did my research. I checked out their instagram page, website, and google reviews to find out more about them. Their clients had nothing but good things to say about them and their posts on social media were informative and creative. After looking at everything I called my fiancé and told him that I found a job on indeed, and it’s every Kinesiologist’s dream! To have the opportunity to work 1-1 with clients in a private exercise studio, work with like-minded individuals, and to have endless opportunities both professionally and financially is not something you see often!
I resinated with their purpose, which is “to provide a new meaning of movement for life.” They help their clients continue to do the things they love 10, 20, 30 years from now, and I wanted to be a part of that! They also work with other allied health care professionals in the community to ensure their clients have the best circle of care.
The culture that they’ve created at the clinic also drew me in. Seeing the client success photos on the wall and their families made it very welcoming. They’ve created such a positive environment to be in, that you look forward to coming in whether it’s for your work day or training session!
We spend a significant amount of our time each day at work and if you’re fortunate enough you get to go to work each day and be surrounded by individuals who you soon call friends. I am very fortunate to say I found that at Longevity Nexum!
